The ca domain represents the country of Canada, and is intended for use by the general public. This domain is administered by CIRA (Canadian Internet Registration Authority).
Registrations of ca domain names are restricted. To register a ca domain name, an applicant must satisfy the Canadian Presence Requirements. It is the applicant's responsibility to determine whether it meets the Canadian Presence Requirements. Any determination that an applicant does not meet the Canadian Presence Requirements following the registration of a domain name may result in the termination of that domain name.

Domain names must not be less than two and not greater
than fifty characters long.
