Yes, we provide specialized translation services in a wide variety of subject areas through our extensive network of translators. Among these translators are engineers, scientists, journalists, lawyers, doctors and financial experts, just to name a few. For every project we select a team of qualified translators that have the required expertise or who are even specialists in your respective industry!
How do you ensure the quality of your translations?
We pride ourselves in the stringent selection of our translators, which ultimately produce the top quality translations we are known for. All of the translators that we utilize are native, mother-tongue speakers who live in a country where they are surrounded by the language into which they translate.
Most of our translators that we work with have been translating for 10+ years and are not only well versed in their mother tongue, but are also very familiar with the various cultural nuances that influence the translations that they produce.
Can you recommend any translation software to me?
Google Translate has certainly become very popular these days for internet users. It is useful when you are trying to get a sense of what is being talked about in a document, but it will not provide you with a polished translation that can be used in a professional setting or for advertising purposes.
The translation software you see on store shelves are very similar and not very useful for businesses. The internet provides many reviews for the various translation software titles available and you will find that most of these reviews point to the fact that you will end up with a very literal translation that can not be used for any other but private purposes. Specialized terms are typically not translated, the word order is out of place and the language is awkward at best. However, sometimes clients use these programs in order to get the gist of a text, which helps them establish whether or not a human translation is needed.
Do you work with machine translation?
We firmly believe in the superior quality of human translation, but for large volume translations and upon request we work with leading-edge machine translation programs.
